Mix Media / Frame By Frame Animation,
Created as part of a Broadcast course, 2025.

This project is a video teaser for Kendrick Lamar’s "Not Like Us" song. The work explores a mixed-media workflow that combines digital animation with physical, hands-on manipulation.

The production process involved frame-by-frame animation, where each individual frame was printed and manually edited using oil pastels, physical cuts, and layering.

 

Later these frames were then re-assembled, scanned and processed in After Effects. This technique creates a tangible, textured visual style where the manual craft is visible in every movement, combining traditional print media and modern digital editing.
